    UN Global Compact: CIWI GmbH Supports Transparency Initiative of the United Nations

    Since 1999 the UN Global Compact has been working for spreading the word about the importance of good governance in business, more transparency, and less corruption. The global grouping of enterprises created by former Secretary General Kofi Annan brings together firms and potential partners and helps in bringing public acknowledgement to positive achievements. Since July 2009 the CIWI GmbH has joined the ranks of the Global Compact as one of only 4 enterprises from the computer and software fields based in Southern Germany.

    Despite progress: Anti-Corruption Measures in Humanitarian Aid Remain Indispensable

    The international NGO working for fighting corruption in July published their latest research report on corruption in humanitarian aid. The report states that progress has been made in monitoring the flow of financial aid in crisis relief situations managed by international NGOs but maintains that problem awareness in the field offices remains low and existing technical systems are not optimally exploited to aid in the battle against widespread abuse of power for personal gain.

    Hammer Forum implements integrated solution by CIWI

    The Hammer Forum e.V. annually supports almost 6.000 children in war and crisis regions through humanitarian medical aid. Moreover the organisation with its headquarters in Hamm, Northrhine-Westphalia, each year allows approximately 100 children suffering from grave illnesses to come to Germany and receive their treatment here. In the future, the Hammer Forum will steer its international efforts using Fundtrac, the software by the Ulm-based ICT specialist CIWI.

    NOUR TRICAN International Holding Relies on CIWI Know-How

    The British group of investors NOUR TRICAN International Holding intends to establish the brand "AZIRIS" with a three-digit million USD investment on the Moroccan market. In Rabat, the capital of Morocco, Ulm's CIWI GmbH assisted the NOUR TRICAN Managers Sàrl, a 100-percent subsidiary of the holding, to realize this ambitious goal: CIWI did not only take over overall project management for the ICT infrastructure but also supplies the appropriate financial and project management system Fundtrac.

    ASB Auslandshilfe entscheidet sich für Software von CIWI
