Installation of Fundtrac®.
Bread for the World, Stuttgart

Fundtrac® was set up at more than five partner organizations in East Africa. The employees were trained by CIWI in Cameroon.
CEFORMAD

CEFORMAD is a center for adult education of the Evangelical Church of in Congo (ECC) in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo. CEFORMAD organized training programs for public development organizations (NGOs). In this the main focus was on advanced education in the area of Management. In 2003 CEFORMAD decided to set up Fundtrac® and to receive training from the CIWI team. So far three intensive courses of 5-days duration each were conducted in the premises of CEFORMAD in Kinshasa. Till now 25 people from NGOs responsible for finance and projects were trained intensively in Fundtrac® on-site. Besides, CEFORMAD is also a CIWI training partner for the French-speaking Africa.

Installation of Fundtrac® at CRAFOD in Bas Congo (Kimpese, Democratic Republic of the Congo) with support by the Evangelischer Entwicklungsdienst, EED.

GTZ

Together with GTZ CIWI GmbH trained more than 250 IT and finance specialists in Egypt and implemented different Fundtrac® projects in the Arab region.
HighSolar

High Solar is a highly specialized KMU company in the area of alternative energy resources. High Solar is expanding into new markets, for example, in Afghanistan. Besides, High Solar supports the solar technology sector with training and technical support in the province of Kabul and Islamabad. CIWI GmbH rendered help in the development of applications for a Public Private Partnership Project (PPP) in Afghanistan, through which private and state institutions work together.

The CIWI GmbH supported the WasserStiftung (WaterFoundation), Germany, in the development of a project application for the BMZ. The objective of the project is to improve access to the drinking water reserves for poor communities in the hilly region of Eritrea in the Asmara region. The war and drought-stricken country is faced with severe infrastructural problems. The objective of the Water Foundation is to improve the situation with the help of an innovative action. Fog nets were installed to “harvest the clouds”. Such simple-to-handle technologies are a milestone in the improvement of the quality of life for many villages in the Asmara Region.
